Our Logo

The combination of the cross and dove symbolizes God’s grace and God’s peace. The cross is the shape of our large cross on the wall above our altar. Jesus dying on the cross for our sins is the highest example of God’s grace. The dove has symbolized peace as far back as Genesis, the first book of the Bible. “God’s grace and peace to you from God our Father” are included in the greetings of the Apostle Paul in his letters – 12 Books of the New Testament – 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon.
