Confirmation Class (grades
6-8)
Confirmation class is
for all youth 6th-8th grades.
Confirmation classes prepare children to
become young Christians through the teaching of what it means to be
Lutheran and what we believe. These classes are structured learning which
culminate with their becoming official members of the congregation. They
learn about the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion, what it means to be a
Christian, and the meaning of the Lord’s Prayer, Ten Commandments,
Apostles' and Nicene Creeds.
High School Youth (grades
9-12)
These youth engage in lively discussions of
current issues, struggles, and successes as they face the challenges of
being a Christian. The focus of these classes is their personal and
spiritual walk with God. The classroom atmosphere is relaxed and includes
couches instead of chairs and tables to enhance and encourage sharing and
relationship building.
