Grace and Peace reached out again to the community with the annual Human Service Center Thanksgiving Dinner on Nov. 25.  There were over 30 people from our church who assisted in the hospitality to the clients and staff of the Center.

We thank everyone who baked pies, made salads, baked turkeys, and worked in the kitchen and on the floor of the dining hall.  Just about 200 people were served a traditional Thanksgiving feast.  It was a wonderful experience.  There were 37 fruit baskets from Miriam Circle among the door prizes.  Everyone seemed to have a good time and appreciated the evening. 

The Human Service Center presented a certificate in memory of Eilert Luecht to Carol and Pastor Wayne for the many acts of kindness over the years.  This was a special project of the Luechts. Carol, their own family and their extended church family carried on this year.
