1991    "Country Christmas" fellowship event at the home of Dick and Ann Joyce
1992 Church Council met with Bishop Kaitschuk and the Rev. Kelley from the Synod office regarding the future of Peace Church
1993 Feasibility team members from both churches met with Peace congregation to discuss ideas and concerns of merger and to present their recommendation to merge
1993 Grace Lutheran and Peace Lutheran held a joint gift wrapping of gifts for LSSI and caroling party at St. Paul
1994 First wedding at Grace and Peace Lutheran - Suzanne Bollman and Robert Brown

Christmas celebrations, caroling, and LSSI gifts have always been a part of the Christmas season at both Grace Lutheran and Peace Lutheran.  However, in 1993 a very special event was occurring in the midst of the Christmas celebrations.  The feasibility team made the recommendation to merge.  As we celebrate the gift of our Savior this Christmas, let us also remember the gifts Grace and Peace have received from both congregations.  As we come to the end of the year we remember that Christmas of 1993 was the last Christmas at both Grace Lutheran and Peace Lutheran.  We now look forward to the New Year when we will be celebrating the beginning of our church--Grace and Peace.

May the grace, love, joy and peace of Christ be yours this holiday season.
