Youth Sunday School Schedule:
In December, the youth will take a break from their Sunday School Rotations. The early part of the month will be dedicated to Christmas Program Rehearsals with the actual program occurring December 14th in between the services. During the Christmas Break weeks of December 21st and 28th, official classes will not be held, but videos will be shown in the Youth room for anyone who is around. Youth ages 3-Senior High are welcome. Starting in January, we will continue our studies on the theme Covenant.
Sunday School Teachers Needed
Have you thought about helping with Sunday School but weren't sure about the commitment involved?
We are currently looking to fill up our spring rotations and want to give you a sneak peak of how you could help us.
Sunday School Rotations last for 4 weeks. Three of the weeks are class time and the 4th is a music week. We have 2 Sunday School Classes this year - The Alpha class is for children ages 4-6 and typically has 6 children in attendance. The Omega class is for children ages 7-11 and typically has 7 children in attendance. You will volunteer to lead one activity and teach the same activity to each class one time. That means that you are only asked to commit to two weeks of class time!
You will get information to help you! Approximately 3-5 weeks prior to your class starting you will receive an orientation packet providing information on locations, class lists and a base curriculum. You will also find out who else is teaching and what topics they are covering. There will also be contact numbers in case you have questions.
The topics and activities for the spring rotations are listed below. Please prayerfully consider when and where your talents would fit into our rotation schedule. If you are interested in teaching one (or more!) of the rotation topics this spring, please contact Bette Traenkenschuh or Sandi Smith.
January - Kingdom Parables
- Hear the story of the Great Feast as told by someone who was in the crowd. Create Invitations to our church for worship or another particular event.
