We need to have at least 2 cutting parties in January and February so we can get started on designing the quilts for the 2004 season.  I asked for 3 specially cut squares of plexiglass for Christmas, and I got 6!  We can have lots of people working on the larger squares for the quilts.

Please bring your rotary cutters and mats if you have them or just your scissors when you come for our first work session on Wednesday, January 21.  We will meet about 11:30 a.m. with sack lunches and start work at noon.

Our second workday will be Wednesday, January 28, with the same schedule.  Those who do not sew can probably draw a line around the square and cut it out!  We have wonderful fellowship and get work done too.

HIS BANNER OVER ME IS LOVE -#6

Good News!  We just need 3 more squares to made into Quilt Banner #6.  Anyone who wishes to finish a family square should do so by January 31.  This will be the last call for squares.  No more will be accepted after this time because we will start work on the arrangement for number 6.

Some of the same people who work on the aGAPe quilts work on the quilt banners.  We need some time to do the work of arranging, measuring, sewing, pressing, and quilting the 18 into another handsome wall hanging.  Time is running out.

Offering envelopes for 2004 are available on the table at  the back of the sanctuary.
Please pick up yours because the numbers have been reassigned for 2004, and last year's envelopes will give credit to the wrong party if you use them.
Giving statements for 2003 should be ready by Sunday, Jan. 4.  They will be available in the Great Room.
