We have had a wonderful year with a lot of help from many, many people.  We think our quilt count is about 128, which is a record for us.  In September, we even lured Louise Cheatham into helping on an aGAPe day.  About 14 hours of work goes into each of those quilts so you do the math.  Fellowship has been a huge part of our aGAPe sessions.  aGAPe is a great "small group!"

In October, some of our crew will be gleaning out clothing following the Gently Used sale on Oct. 4.  On
Wednesday, Oct. 8, bring your sack lunch and come at 11:30 a.m. to help sort, pack, mark, and weigh those boxes.

On Sunday, October 19, we will have the blessing of all the quilts, kits, clothing, and layettes.  Because of time constraints that make it difficult to arrange everything before Sunday a.m. service, you will be handed a quilt to take into church and place on your chair that day.

On Monday, October 20, beginning at 8:30 a.m., we will be counting and packing the quilts.  Anyone can join this brigade.  We really need extra help.  We will probably be stashing all the boxes of school kits, health kits, layettes, clothing, and quilts into the Norens' truck and maybe Sylvesters' van for the trip to the big Ingathering in Bloomington, Saturday, Oct. 25.  Sam and Sue are our drivers.

Thank you to everyone for such a great quilting season!
